A rare sight in the past, but Gmail does seem to have more problems these days than before. Gmail’s web interface been inaccessible for me since 7.30am today at least, or about two hours. I can however get mail via IMAP4 and send messages too, using Google’s SMTP servers so for me, it’s a minor nuisance than a real problem.
Still, it’s not a good look. With an increasing number of people and organisations using the various Google Apps, Big GOOG has to be careful so as not to undermine their confidence in cloud computing.

Aspen, CO, US – went down about 30 minutes ago (3:30 MST) for me.
Ahh!!! 4th Hour and counting!!!!! – Both of my Google Apps Accounts are down.
First time Google has let me down
Down here too. In fact, confirmed with everyone in the office… everyone with personal gmail accounts is seeing the same error. That is a total of 17 people.
Further, I just contacted an a friend in Scottsdale, AZ… the “word” on the street is that Google has experienced a major mail server crash. I find this suspect and probably exaggerated so I’m just passing it on as rumor!
I can get in to Gmail’s webmail interface again, at 10:35 NZ time.
Update: It’s 1543h – Pacific coast time and gmail is working (albeit slowly).
If you are still encountering problems, try: mail.google.com/mail/h

Hi Cherelle,
There’s an orange-white icon on the top of the site that you can click on. It takes you to this URL: http://www.techsploder.com/feed/ which contains the feed for the site. Let me know if it doesn’t work.
